The Mountain Goats najavili su novi album In League With Dragons i podelili prvi singl "Younger". In League With Dragons, izlazi 26.aprila za izdavačku kuću Mergeć

In League With Dragons je naslednik albuma Goths iz 2017.godine i Beath the Champs iz 2015.godine. Frontmen John Darnielle je autor svh pesama. The Mountain Goats koje čine vokal/gitara Darnielle, bubnjar Jon Wurster, basista Peter Hughes, i multi-instrumentalista Matt Douglas, snimili su album u Blackbird studiju u Nešvilu, na albumu su gostovali Robert Bailey (aranžirao gudačke deonice) i Makedonski Simfonijski Orkestar.
